Elena Aronson

Elena Aronson is the Executive Director of Ruakh Arts and Program Director of the Richmond Worship Arts Fellowship. She previously served as the Director of Facilitator Training and Curriculum Development at Arrabon for over 8 years. Her greatest joy during that period was directing the Urban Doxology Songwriting Internship each summer. Elena holds a Master’s in Theology and Culture from Kilns College and a Bachelor of Music in Piano from Wheaton College. She has always been interested in the intersection between music, culture, and faith. Her greatest passion, however, is in building learning experiences that enable learners to meaningfully interact with challenging topics, ultimately equipping them to participate in the flourishing of their congregation and community. Elena lives in Richmond, VA with her wonderful husband, Hayden Hobby, who is a worship leader, songwriter, and liturgist.
