Devoted to thriving congregations and well equipped Christian artists
Who we are…
Ruakh Arts, previously Mission Possible Initiatives, was founded in 2011 by two friends and pastors with the goal of sparking people’s imaginations to be on mission with God in everyday life. Their programming was often oriented toward young people, encouraging them to explore the intersection of arts, justice, and mission. The pandemic put a pause on their activities and the increased responsibilities of both founding members led to a period of inactivity. Our new executive director, Elena Aronson, was invited in to build new programs and bring revitalized purpose to their mission.
Under the new name, Ruakh Arts, this organization is focused on cultivating creative congregations for future generations of the Church. Of course, this work will benefit all generations, but we believe that creative congregations are pivotal for the flourishing of young people within the church. While we spark the imaginations of young people, we will also work with congregations and help church leaders learn how to effectively utilize artists for spiritual discipleship and mission.
